Feather in Heaven & Heart to Heaven

I had lost my son when he was 6 years old.
He had gone to Heaven alone before I taught him fly fishing.
I wanted to do fly fishing with him and he would have wanted so.
When I was died I could do fly fishing with him in Heaven.
In my country it is prohibited to put anything metal material into the coffin.
So I had looked for wooden fly tackle through Internet site.

I found out Danish rod having  bamboo ferule at first, and ordered it.

I didn't tell him about my son at first.
But he agreeably accepted my order including special order.
I was surprised the lightness of his rod when I got my rod.
And his F.I.B.H perfectly satisfied me.
He is an expert of flytying, flyfishing, and flycasting
And he works with bamboo.
He lives with the spirit of bamboo.
My rod " Connoisseur 633" is sensitive but not weak.
I think He knows enough that bamboo is very sensitive but not weak, very strong
so that he can make out his originals, which is not imitation of any others.
The rod, the bamboo of bamboos
I am honored to be a owner of  his rod.

My rod Connoisseur is about 45 g, very light and sensitive ,so that
the weight of reel was absolutely important for me.

Next I found out Italian wooden reel. I mailed to the reel maker.
And I told him about my son.
He understood all instantly and accepted all of my order,
he proposed to me to make a small reel by all wood without any metal
for me and my son, his name is Kenichi.

I never forget his name.
He lives in Italy where is famous place of production of briar wood.
He works with briar wood.
He lives with the spirit of wood.
His works is indeed art, genuine Italian art.
The reel, not only fishing tackle but also the Art.
I am honored to be a owner of  his reel too.

I have named my rod
Feather in Heaven, and my reel  Heart to Heaven.
These are the tackle of Kenichi and me.

Kenichi tells me " you must help two men."

So I am willing to do so as much as I can.

Danish friend has been famous enough in Japan.
But Italian friend was not yet famous in Japan.
I tried to introduce him among Japanese fly fishers.
I was a first customer from Japan for him,
next he called me adviser of Japanese fly fishing style and mechanical adviser of his reel,
next he called me advertising manager of his reel in Japan,
now he calls me his younger brother in Japan.
I am introducing his special sized reel among Japanese flyfishers who love natural materials.

I'm very happy to introduce

 Danish spirit of bamboo,
Italian spirit of wood,
French spirit of silk.

to you.
Flyfishing companion who love natural materials.
