Leo-san Photo Gallery
03/November 2k2 "I visited Walden Pond this morning where Thoreau lived in a hut for 2 years in the 1840's. While I was there I photographed a flyfisherman and I thought of you." I was glad to receive an E-mail. Thanks Leo-san! Photographs may not be reproduced in any manner whatsoever without permission. Walden written by Henry D. Thoreau-1854. My house was on the side of a hill, immediately on the edge of the larger wood, in the midst of a young forest of pitch pines and hickories, and half a dozen rods from the pond, to which a narrow footpath led down the hill. ( from Chapter 4 Sounds, (6 rods means about 33 yards)) you can come into the path to Walden pond through the guidance of literary photographs at his site. |
