Before I came to Hilo,
I had bought a swatch’s watch.

After I came here,
I have lost my swatch in 6 months.

I like this swatch which has a nice design.

April 23 Saturday

When I was a student of IEP,
I found these white flowers at the yard of someone’s house.

I still don’t know the name of these flowers.
The flower’s color is clear bright white.

While I stood in front of someone’s yard
and painted these flowers,
I worried to be seen a doubtful person.

When I did not have a car,
on the road side to the Manono campus
     I found the small red flowers
    
 I guessed these were weeds.

     In the strong sunlight,
     the flowers were straightly in bloom toward the sky.

           While I saw the flower,
     I thought I would be a strong person like these flowers.

車のなかったころ
暑い日差しの中をとぼとぼ歩いて
マノノキャンパスまで行く道で
見つけた花。

雑草かな。
すごい暑さの中で
すっくと咲いていた頼もしい花。

私も小さなことにめげずにたくましく
なりたいと思った。

When I went to Kona、
I bought a pack of strawberry in a Farmers Market.

It seemed to be very delicious.

When I bought one pack,
I was surprised to see strawberries
that has different shaped,
bigger strawberry, smaller one、 and so on.

 When I ate a strawberry,
a fresh of a strawberry is a little hard.     

The strawberry was not softness
which you ate in Japan.

コナに行ったときに
ファーマーズマーケットで
イチゴを買った。
とてもおいしそうで。
一箱買ってみたら
中に入っていたイチゴの粒の
不ぞろいなのにびっくり。
大きいのや小さいのや
いろいろ。

かじってみると
意外と果肉がしっかりとしている。
日本で想像するような
軟らかさではない。

I'm glad to come Hawaii
because the fruit is so delicious.

Although theses apples are small,
its taste is so good.

ハワイに来てとてもうれしく思えるのは
果物がとてもうまいこと。

このりんごは日本のりんごよろも
形は小さく、不ぞろいなのだけど
すごく歯ごたえがあっておいしい。

「ふじ」のように歯ごたえがある

I had a nice present from one of my friends.
When I saw this wrapping,
my heart is fluttering with excitement.

I like this pink color very much.
So I took a photo with my camera.

Of course the content is very nicer than wrappings.

素敵なプレゼントをいただきました。

見ただけでもわくわくするでしょう。

私はピンク色が好きなので、
うれしくて写真にとってしまいました。

もちろん、
中身はもっと素敵です。

This is an avocado’s tree.
This is the first time to see an avocado tree
in my life.
I found this tree Mr.Kaneshiro's garden
near parking lots.

You can pick an avocado out from the tree.
I did not know how an avocado is in fruit.
The branches are weighed down with avocados.  

It looks different something.
So my mouth was not watering.

When it is raining and raining middle in April,
I worrisome cherry blossoms are fallen.          
Today is raining in Hilo.     

This year I did not have a chance to see
cherry blossoms in Hawaii.

There are many cherry trees
in the park in front of my residence in Japan.

Middle in April,
double flowering in cherry tree are about to blossom.

The bud of double flowering in cherry tree
is seemed to heavily.         

I do not know why I like cherry blossoms.
I love cherry blossoms.

今頃雨が降るとやっぱり桜が気になる。
散ってしまわないだろうか。

Cherry blossoms are beautiful in spring.
But, April in Hawaii is spring?

Does Hawaii have four seasons？
Let’s research about Hawaii’s seasons!

Hawaii does not four seasons.
It has two seasons, dry and wet.
November to April is wet seasons.
May to October is dry seasons.

This year’s wet season has a lot of rain.
On merrier Monarch festival the weather is rain.

Today is also raining.
It is intermittent rain.

      The cherry blossom's season has come.

      The cherry blossom's festival will be opened on mid April at ZOUHEIKYOKU, Mint Bureau.

      There are also many cherry trees in the yard of my apartment of Osaka.
First, cherry tees of SOMEIYOSHINO bloom.
They are a typical Japanese cherry tree.
Next, cherry trees of YAEZAKURA bloom.
Last, cherry trees of YAEZAKURA bloom.

           I feel nostalgia even the crowd of cherry blossom's festival of ZOUHEIKYOKU.
