[John]

3:13 And no one has ever gone up to heaven except the Son of Man, who came down from heaven."
3:14 As Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the desert, in the same way the Son of Man must be lifted up,
3:15 so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.
3:16 For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.

5:37 And the Father, who sent me, also testifies on my behalf. You have never heard his voice or seen his face,
5:38 and you do not keep his message in your hearts, for you do not believe in the one whom he sent.
5:39 You study the Scriptures, because you think that in them you will find eternal life. And these very Scriptures speak about me!

No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments." 19:18 He said to Him, "Which ones?" Jesus said, " 'You shall not murder,' 'You shall not commit adultery,' 'You shall not steal,' 'You shall not bear false witness,' 19:19 'Honor your father and your mother,' and, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' " 19:20 The young man said to Him, "All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?" 19:21 Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me." 19:22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. 19:23 Then Jesus said to His disciples, "Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. 19:24 "And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." 19:25 When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, "Who then can be saved?" 19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

10:17 Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, "Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?" 10:18 So Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. 10:19 "You know the commandments: 'Do not commit adultery,' 'Do not murder,' 'Do not steal,' 'Do not bear false witness,' 'Do not defraud,' 'Honor your father and your mother.' " 10:20 And he answered and said to Him, "Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth." 10:21 Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, "One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me." 10:22 But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. 10:23 Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, "How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!" 10:24 And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, "Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God! 10:25 "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." 10:26 And they were greatly astonished, saying among themselves, "Who then can be saved?" 10:27 But Jesus looked at them and said, "With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible."

12:28 Then one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, "Which is the first commandment of all?" 12:29 Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 12:30 'And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment. 12:31 "And the second, like it, is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these." 12:32 So the scribe said to Him, "Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one God, and there is no other but He. 12:33 "And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices." 12:34 Now when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, He said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." But after that no one dared question Him. 12:35 Then Jesus answered and said, while He taught in the temple, "How is it that the scribes say that the Christ is the Son of David? 12:36 "For David himself said by the Holy Spirit:'The Lord said to my Lord,"Sit at My right hand,Till I make Your enemies Your footstool." ' 12:37 "Therefore David himself calls Him 'Lord'; how is He then his Son?" And the common people heard Him gladly.

" 10:28 And He said to him, "You have answered rightly; do this and you will live." 10:29 But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?" 10:30 Then Jesus answered and said: "A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. 10:31 "Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 10:32 "Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side. 10:33 "But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. 10:34 "So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 10:35 "On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, 'Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.' 10:36 "So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?" 10:37 And he said, "He who showed mercy on him."

【When you pray, say this】

[TEV;Matthew]

6:5 "When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites! They love to stand up and pray in the houses of worship and on the street corners, so that everyone will see them. I assure you, they have already been paid in full.
6:6 But when you pray, go to your room, close the door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what you do in private, will reward you.
6:7 "When you pray, do not use a lot of meaningless words, as the pagans do, who think that their gods will hear them because their prayers are long.
6:8 Do not be like them. Your Father already knows what you need before you ask him.
6:9 This, then, is how you should pray: "Our Father in heaven: May your holy name be honored;
6:10 may your Kingdom come; may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
6:11 Give us today the food we need.
6:12 Forgive us the wrongs we have done, as we forgive the wrongs that others have done to us.
6:13 Do not bring us to hard testing, but keep us safe from the Evil One.'
6:14 "If you forgive others the wrongs they have done to you, your Father in heaven will also forgive you.
6:15 But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive the wrongs you have done.

11:7 And suppose your friend should answer from inside, "Don't bother me! The door is already locked, and my children and I are in bed. I can't get up and give you anything.'
11:8 Well, what then? I tell you that even if he will not get up and give you the bread because you are his friend, yet he will get up and give you everything you need because you are not ashamed to keep on asking.
11:9 And so I say to you: Ask, and you will receive; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.
11:10 For those who ask will receive, and those who seek will find, and the door will be opened to anyone who knocks.
11:11 Would any of you who are fathers give your son a snake when he asks for fish?
11:12 Or would you give him a scorpion when he asks for an egg?

1:17 When I saw him, I fell down at his feet like a dead man. He placed his right hand on me and said, "Don't be afraid! I am the first and the last. 1:18 I am the living one! I was dead, but now I am alive forever and ever. I have authority over death and the world of the dead. 1:19 Write, then, the things you see, both the things that are now and the things that will happen afterward. 1:20 Here is the secret meaning of the seven stars that you see in my right hand, and of the seven gold lampstands: the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

3:14 "To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: "This is the message from the Amen, the faithful and true witness, who is the origin of all that God has created. 3:15 I know what you have done; I know that you are neither cold nor hot. How I wish you were either one or the other! 3:16 But because you are lukewarm, neither hot nor cold, I am going to spit you out of my mouth! 3:17 You say, "I am rich and well off; I have all I need.' But you do not know how miserable and pitiful you are! You are poor, naked, and blind. 3:18 I advise you, then, to buy gold from me, pure gold, in order to be rich. Buy also white clothing to dress yourself and cover up your shameful nakedness. Buy also some ointment to put on your eyes, so that you may see. 3:19 I rebuke and punish all whom I love. Be in earnest, then, and turn from your sins. 3:20 Listen! I stand at the door and knock; if any hear my voice and open the door, I will come into their house and eat with them, and they will eat with me. 3:21 To those who win the victory I will give the right to sit beside me on my throne, just as I have been victorious and now sit by my Father on his throne. 3:22 "If you have ears, then, listen to what the Spirit says to the churches!"

19:1 After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a large crowd of people in heaven, saying, "Praise God! Salvation, glory, and power belong to our God! 19:2 True and just are his judgments! He has condemned the prostitute who was corrupting the earth with her immorality. God has punished her because she killed his servants." 19:3 Again they shouted, "Praise God! The smoke from the flames that consume the great city goes up forever and ever!" 19:4 The twenty‐four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God, who was seated on the throne. They said, "Amen! Praise God!" 19:5 Then there came from the throne the sound of a voice, saying, "Praise our God, all his servants and all people, both great and small, who have reverence for him!" 19:6 Then I heard what sounded like a crowd, like the sound of a roaring waterfall, like loud peals of thunder. I heard them say, "Praise God! For the Lord, our Almighty God, is King! 19:7 Let us rejoice and be glad; let us praise his greatness! For the time has come for the wedding of the Lamb, and his bride has prepared herself for it. 19:8 She has been given clean shining linen to wear." (The linen is the good deeds of God's people.) 19:9 Then the angel said to me, "Write this: Happy are those who have been invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb." And the angel added, "These are the true words of God." 19:10 I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, "Don't do it! I am a servant together with you and with other believers, all those who hold to the truth that Jesus revealed. Worship God!" For the truth that Jesus revealed is what inspires the prophets. 19:11 Then I saw heaven open, and there was a white horse. Its rider is called Faithful and True; it is with justice that he judges and fights his battles. 19:12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and he wore many crowns on his head. He had a name written on him, but no one except himself knows what it is. 19:13 The robe he wore was covered with blood. His name is "The Word of God." 19:14 The armies of heaven followed him, riding on white horses and dressed in clean white linen. 19:15 Out of his mouth came a sharp sword, with which he will defeat the nations. He will rule over them with a rod of iron, and he will trample out the wine in the wine press of the furious anger of the Almighty God. 19:16 On his robe and on his thigh was written the name: "King of kings and Lord of lords." 19:17 Then I saw an angel standing on the sun. He shouted in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair: "Come and gather together for God's great feast! 19:18 Come and eat the flesh of kings, generals, and soldiers, the flesh of horses and their riders, the flesh of all people, slave and free, great and small!" 19:19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered to fight against the one who was riding the horse and against his army. 19:20 The beast was taken prisoner, together with the false prophet who had performed miracles in his presence. (It was by those miracles that he had deceived those who had the mark of the beast and those who had worshiped the image of the beast.) The beast and the false prophet were both thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. 19:21 Their armies were killed by the sword that comes out of the mouth of the one who was riding the horse; and all the birds ate all they could of their flesh. 20:1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key of the abyss and a heavy chain. 20:2 He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent―that is, the Devil, or Satan―and chained him up for a thousand years. 20:3 The angel threw him into the abyss, locked it, and sealed it, so that he could not deceive the nations any more until the thousand years were over. After that he must be set loose for a little while. 20:4 Then I saw thrones, and those who sat on them were given the power to judge. I also saw the souls of those who had been executed because they had proclaimed the truth that Jesus revealed and the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image, nor had they received the mark of the beast on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and ruled as kings with Christ for a thousand years. 20:5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were over.) This is the first raising of the dead. 20:6 Happy and greatly blessed are those who are included in this first raising of the dead. The second death has no power over them; they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and they will rule with him for a thousand years. 20:7 After the thousand years are over, Satan will be set loose from his prison, 20:8 and he will go out to deceive the nations scattered over the whole world, that is, Gog and Magog. Satan will bring them all together for battle, as many as the grains of sand on the seashore. 20:9 They spread out over the earth and surrounded the camp of God's people and the city that he loves. But fire came down from heaven and destroyed them. 20:10 Then the Devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had already been thrown; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. 20:11 Then I saw a great white throne and the one who sits on it. Earth and heaven fled from his presence and were seen no more. 20:12 And I saw the dead, great and small alike, standing before the throne. Books were opened, and then another book was opened, the book of the living. The dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books. 20:13 Then the sea gave up its dead. Death and the world of the dead also gave up the dead they held. And all were judged according to what they had done. 20:14 Then death and the world of the dead were thrown into the lake of fire. (This lake of fire is the second death.) 20:15 Those who did not have their name written in the book of the living were thrown into the lake of fire. 21:1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The first heaven and the first earth disappeared, and the sea vanished. 21:2 And I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared and ready, like a bride dressed to meet her husband. 21:3 I heard a loud voice speaking from the throne: "Now God's home is with people! He will live with them, and they shall be his people. God himself will be with them, and he will be their God. 21:4 He will wipe away all tears from their eyes. There will be no more death, no more grief or crying or pain. The old things have disappeared." 21:5 Then the one who sits on the throne said, "And now I make all things new!" He also said to me, "Write this, because these words are true and can be trusted." 21:6 And he said, "It is done! I am the first and the last, the beginning and the end. To anyone who is thirsty I will give the right to drink from the spring of the water of life without paying for it. 21:7 Those who win the victory will receive this from me: I will be their God, and they will be my children. 21:8 But cowards, traitors, perverts, murderers, the immoral, those who practice magic, those who worship idols, and all liars―the place for them is the lake burning with fire and sulfur, which is the second death." 21:9 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came to me and said, "Come, and I will show you the Bride, the wife of the Lamb." 21:10 The Spirit took control of me, and the angel carried me to the top of a very high mountain. He showed me Jerusalem, the Holy City, coming down out of heaven from God 21:11 and shining with the glory of God. The city shone like a precious stone, like a jasper, clear as crystal. 21:12 It had a great, high wall with twelve gates and with twelve angels in charge of the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of the people of Israel. 21:13 There were three gates on each side: three on the east, three on the south, three on the north, and three on the west. 21:14 The city's wall was built on twelve foundation stones, on which were written the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 21:15 The angel who spoke to me had a gold measuring stick to measure the city, its gates, and its wall. 21:16 The city was perfectly square, as wide as it was long. The angel measured the city with his measuring stick: it was fifteen hundred miles long and was as wide and as high as it was long. 21:17 The angel also measured the wall, and it was 216 feet high, according to the standard unit of measure which he was using. 21:18 The wall was made of jasper, and the city itself was made of pure gold, as clear as glass. 21:19 The foundation stones of the city wall were adorned with all kinds of precious stones. The first foundation stone was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, 21:20 the fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh yellow quartz, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chalcedony, the eleventh turquoise, the twelfth amethyst. 21:21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls; each gate was made from a single pearl. The street of the city was of pure gold, transparent as glass. 21:22 I did not see a temple in the city, because its temple is the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb. 21:23 The city has no need of the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God shines on it, and the Lamb is its lamp. 21:24 The peoples of the world will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their wealth into it. 21:25 The gates of the city will stand open all day; they will never be closed, because there will be no night there. 21:26 The greatness and the wealth of the nations will be brought into the city. 21:27 But nothing that is impure will enter the city, nor anyone who does shameful things or tells lies. Only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of the living will enter the city. 22:1 The angel also showed me the river of the water of life, sparkling like crystal, and coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb 22:2 and flowing down the middle of the city's street. On each side of the river was the tree of life, which bears fruit twelve times a year, once each month; and its leaves are for the healing of the nations. 22:3 Nothing that is under God's curse will be found in the city. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will worship him. 22:4 They will see his face, and his name will be written on their foreheads. 22:5 There shall be no more night, and they will not need lamps or sunlight, because the Lord God will be their light, and they will rule as kings forever and ever. 22:6 Then the angel said to me, "These words are true and can be trusted. And the Lord God, who gives his Spirit to the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants what must happen very soon." 22:7 "Listen!" says Jesus. "I am coming soon! Happy are those who obey the prophetic words in this book!" 22:8 I, John, have heard and seen all these things. And when I finished hearing and seeing them, I fell down at the feet of the angel who had shown me these things, and I was about to worship him. 22:9 But he said to me, "Don't do it! I am a servant together with you and with your brothers the prophets and of all those who obey the words in this book. Worship God!" 22:10 And he said to me, "Do not keep the prophetic words of this book a secret, because the time is near when all this will happen. 22:11 Whoever is evil must go on doing evil, and whoever is filthy must go on being filthy; whoever is good must go on doing good, and whoever is holy must go on being holy." 22:12 "Listen!" says Jesus. "I am coming soon! I will bring my rewards with me, to give to each one according to what he has done. 22:13 I am the first and the last, the beginning and the end." 22:14 Happy are those who wash their robes clean and so have the right to eat the fruit from the tree of life and to go through the gates into the city. 22:15 But outside the city are the perverts and those who practice magic, the immoral and the murderers, those who worship idols and those who are liars both in words and deeds. 22:16 "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to announce these things to you in the churches. I am descended from the family of David; I am the bright morning star." 22:17 The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come!" Everyone who hears this must also say, "Come!" Come, whoever is thirsty; accept the water of life as a gift, whoever wants it. 22:18 I, John, solemnly warn everyone who hears the prophetic words of this book: if any add anything to them, God will add to their punishment the plagues described in this book. 22:19 And if any take anything away from the prophetic words of this book, God will take away from them their share of the fruit of the tree of life and of the Holy City, which are described in this book. 22:20 He who gives his testimony to all this says, "Yes indeed! I am coming soon!" So be it. Come, Lord Jesus! 22:21 May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with everyone.

54:1 "Sing, O barren,You who have not borne!Break forth into singing, and cry aloud,You who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolateThan the children of the married woman," says the Lord. 54:2 "Enlarge the place of your tent,And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings;Do not spare;Lengthen your cords,And strengthen your stakes. 54:3 For you shall expand to the right and to the left,And your descendants will inherit the nations,And make the desolate cities inhabited. 54:4 "Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed;Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; For you will forget the shame of your youth,And will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore. 54:5 For your Maker is your husband,The Lord of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth. 54:6 For the Lord has called youLike a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit,Like a youthful wife when you were refused,"Says your God. 54:7 "For a mere moment I have forsaken you,But with great mercies I will gather you. 54:8 With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you,"Says the Lord, your Redeemer. 54:9 "For this is like the waters of Noah to Me;For as I have swornThat the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth,So have I swornThat I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you. 54:10 For the mountains shall departAnd the hills be removed,But My kindness shall not depart from you,Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,"Says the Lord, who has mercy on you. 54:11 "O you afflicted one,Tossed with tempest, and not comforted,Behold, I will lay your stones with colorful gems,And lay your foundations with sapphires. 54:12 I will make your pinnacles of rubies,Your gates of crystal,And all your walls of precious stones. 54:13 All your children shall be taught by the Lord,And great shall be the peace of your children. 54:14 In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you. 54:15 Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me.Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake. 54:16 "Behold, I have created the blacksmithWho blows the coals in the fire,Who brings forth an instrument for his work; And I have created the spoiler to destroy. 54:17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper,And every tongue which rises against you in judgmentYou shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,And their righteousness is from Me,"Says the Lord. 55:1 "Ho! Everyone who thirsts,Come to the waters; And you who have no money,Come, buy and eat.Yes, come, buy wine and milkWithout money and without price. 55:2 Why do you spend money for what is not bread,And your wages for what does not satisfy?Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good,And let your soul delight itself in abundance. 55:3 Incline your ear, and come to Me.Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you-The sure mercies of David. 55:4 Indeed I have given him as a witness to the people,A leader and commander for the people. 55:5 Surely you shall call a nation you do not know,And nations who do not know you shall run to you,Because of the Lord your God,And the Holy One of Israel; For He has glorified you." 55:6 Seek the Lord while He may be found,Call upon Him while He is near. 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way,And the unrighteous man his thoughts;Let him return to the Lord,And He will have mercy on him;And to our God,For He will abundantly pardon. 55:8 "For My thoughts are not your thoughts,Nor are your ways My ways," says the Lord. 55:9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth,So are My ways higher than your ways,And My thoughts than your thoughts. 55:10 "For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,And do not return there,But water the earth,And make it bring forth and bud,That it may give seed to the sowerAnd bread to the eater, 55:11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void,But it shall accomplish what I please,And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. 55:12 "For you shall go out with joy,And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hillsShall break forth into singing before you,And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. 55:13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree,And instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree; And it shall be to the Lord for a name,For an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off."
