Our school has 85 years of tradition


In April 1923:
Sasebo Prefectural Commercial School was founded.
It was the first Commercial School in Nagasaki
In April 1948:
The name of the school was changed to "Prefectural Sasebo Commercial High School".
In
March 1979:
The school moved to Yoshioka-cho,Sasebo(the present day school building).
Today:
Our
integrated business department has been running for four years
This is the first year of our international communication department.

  Reading in the morning

We calm ourselves by reading our favourite books for ten minutes before SHR.

  Volunteer work

We mix well with locals through rice crop planting in the Shiranita area.
We try to protect the desolate terraced paddy by working there.
We distribute the crops to kindergartens and welfare institutions.





Business,book keeping,data management,calculator...

1st year students study commercial basics.
You will be able to know what you want.
Their object is get to 2 or 3 grade of examination and
to learn their best in the year.

You have to choose a course from 4 courses!!!


Distributory Economics and Business Track

Students learn about the distribution of goods and Services, from the producer to the consumer.


Accounting Track

We learn theory and actual business practices for accounting management of a business. 
We also learn about cost accounting in the manufacturing process.


International Business Track

We study English and Chinese in order to improve our communication capability.
We train students in the fields of business, sale, reception and service so that they can interact with foreigners.


Business Information Systems Track

We learn computer programming, networking and how to use various kinds of business software and multimedia.
Students master the logical and computer oriented skills neccesary to become leaders.

 




Our goal is to improve communicative ability in English.
Especially, we focus on listening and speaking.

 

First, Listening.
You can train your ears by using the latest teaching materials in the LL room.
You can listen to native speakers' English everyday.
You enjoy listening to English by using the internet.

Next, speaking!

You have plenty of time to talk with ALTs.
You can get prizes in various kinds of speech contests.
You can have a great experience through the Homestay in theUSA.



You can take 30 English units. It means 1/3 of all units.

You can also take "Information" , "Document Design" and
"chinese" for your career education.


We can take " Crosscultural Understanding class" from the professors of Nagasaki International university.
